HOLIDAYS AT THE FARM

Our small family farm close to nature offers - besides a chosen number of apartments - a familiar atmosphere and personal support. Especially children enjoy the large space for games and activities, indoor and outdoor. This is why the austrian tourist organisation "holidays on the Farm" awarded us with a "4-flower rating" for family holidays. Discover now the wide range of possibilites at Strickhof:

Children's Paradise!

Our indoor and outdoor playgrounds and the endless grassland around offer an amazing space for children of every age. Do you like horse riding? Our Strickhof-Horses Leo, Cesar and Hanni are just waiting for the next trip - we start Monday to Friday at 5pm in the summertime on a quiet forest track. Don't forget to visit the barn with Bernd and Gertrude, members of your host family.

Fancy a refreshment?

Strickhof has got an own swimming lake next to the barnyard offering a cold refreshment on hot days. As an alternative, you can go by rowboat. After that, the green grassland around enables an extensive sun-bath.

Recreation in the countryside

Our unique sauna facilities will inspire you! What looks like a creation by professional designers is a homemade recreation area built by your host family at Strickhof.

Cold meets hot

Another notable attraction at Strickhof is our outdoor sauna facility that is operating all year long. It is placed next to the main building and popular especially in wintertime, when the area is snow covered.

Cosiness between the mountains

You like to meet some other holiday visitors or the host family after your day-off? No Problem at our traditional barbecue cottage! The cottage offers a wonderful view over Preuneggtal and the Dachstein-glacier in the background - fireplace is present!

Great place for fishermen

You would like to have your own-captured dinner in the evening? No problem! Have a try in the stream directly at Strickhof - you may get a brown- or a rainbow trout.
